Dr. Faranak Kamangar is a board-certified dermatologist, engineer, and telehealth innovator based in Silicon Valley. She co-founded PSO Telehealth, aiming to remove barriers for patients in accessing healthcare and medications for better skin health. In 2023, she launched DermGPT, an AI-driven app that supports healthcare providers with clinical tasks by delivering efficient, peer-reviewed answers.Dr. Kamangar is a leader in dermatology and health tech, frequently quoted in major publications like People Magazine, Yahoo News, and Women’s Health. She was also the Chair of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation and today, she serves as the Chair/Treasurer of the San Francisco Dermatological Society.
